St Peters OSTEOARTHRITIS SUFFERERS AND THEIR PAIN

St Peters knee osteoarthritis is ordinary. There are many St Peters knee pain sufferers. They’re not alone! 240 million people around the world suffer with osteoarthritis. That bothers about 10% of men and 18% of women. (1) Any St Peters knee osteoarthritis sufferer knows about the knee pain, the morning stiffness, and the creaky joint motion that lessens the quality of daily life. (1) It’s just not very fun. Now a Mediterranean diet has potential to be fun though!

WHAT TO EAT ON A MEDITERRANEAN DIET

The Mediterranean diet incorporates plenty of fruits and vegetable, legumes and nuts, cereals and seeds, seafood and fish. The Mediterranean diet permits moderate intake of dairy, poultry and eggs as well as red wine and olive oil as the main source of dietary lipids. (1) Yum! Consuming a Mediterranean diet can be quite delicious and exciting for a recent Mediterranean diet follower.

BENEFITS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET

Knee osteoarthritis involves inflammation as well as pain. An analysis of 3 studies highlights that biomarkers of inflammation and cartilage degradation due to osteoarthritis fell in the Mediterranean diet group.
